Threads Accounts Attached to Muck Rack Profiles
Shortly after Threads launched, Muck Rack added the Threads accounts of journalists, podcasters and newsletter writers to its media database.
Users can follow and engage with media targets to track topics they’re interested in, source pitching opportunities and secure impactful coverage.
“We’re always thinking of ways to reduce friction in the PR workflow and save our customers time, and we’ve heard directly from them that they appreciated us… incorporating Threads into our database,” says Gregory Galant, Muck Rack’s cofounder & CEO.
“The key is the power of having the data in one place. For example, say you’re researching a journalist for a pitch and you want to get a sense of what kinds of topics and conversations they’re interested in. It’s much quicker and easier to…navigate to all of their social profiles, including Threads, directly from their profile versus combing through Google, X and Threads to find and verify them, and see if they’re a fit for your story,” Galant adds.
PRophet Launches Multi Pitch Generator
PRophet recently launched a Multi Pitch Generator, powered by generative AI. It enables users to generate personalized pitches for up to 25 reporters in under three minutes.
According to Aaron Kwittken, Prophet CEO and founder, it would take typically take a comms pro roughly eight hours to personalize 25 pitches.
Users have the option to adjust the structure of each pitch, from “short and to the point” to “elaborative,” to best suit each reporter, as well as appropriate tone preferences.
Zen Media Launches Snooze or News
Zen Media launched Snooze or News, a free AI-powered tool to help determine whether a press release is newsworthy.
Users just need to upload a press release, and the tool will analyze the announcement, providing a graded evaluation, including feedback on grammar, style and content; recommendations on the channels to pitch the announcement and determines whether the announcement should be some sort of asset other than a press release.
